The long-awaited opening of Lehi’s brand new restaurant, Edna’s Market & Grill, is finally here. The new dining facility is at 380 N 850 E in the former short-lived Moochies and Doughboys Pizza building.

When guests enter, they are greeted by a friendly face at the host’s booth. On the left is a small market offering home decor, cooking utensils and specialty food ingredients. To the right is the tastefully decorated dining room.

Once seated, diners receive complimentary bread with balsamic aioli dip, which has a unique flavor that packs a punch while looking at the drink options. Beverage choices include traditional sodas, Olipop sodas, and sparkling waters, but don’t look beyond specialty lemonades. This week’s picks were Almond Lavender and Roasted Peach. Get fishing!

The limited menu emphasizes quality over quantity, with several standouts including meatloaf (Christiansen Farm ground beef and pork, mashed potatoes, buttered peas, crispy onions and chives ) or the Paris Burger (7 oz beef patty, raspberry jam, spinach, white cheddar cheese, garlic mayonnaise, crispy onions and ciabatta bread). The menu also offers traditional pizzas and salads. The wood-fired pizzas are perfectly cooked, offer great flavor between the sauce, cheese and crust, and are finished with a drizzle of honey. Yum!

Top off your meal with a skillet bread pudding or cookie. Want something a little lighter? Savor the popular rice pudding served chilled with a raspberry drizzle. The generous portion could be shared with the whole table.

This local sit-down restaurant is just what Lehi needed – a place to take visitors, enjoy a date night, or just a weekday lunch away from the endless fast food list. At Edna, you will experience good service, quality cuisine and, above all, a local atmosphere.

Although prices for starters are higher, prices for gourmet quality mains are reasonable and worth trying Lehi’s new place.
